Innovative Antibody Screening that Obtains
Antibodies without Knowing the Antigen

The new antibody screening method, “Tracing Evolution of Antibody along time course (TEA-time) “ directly obtains antibody groups that react to antigens in the bodies of humans and animals through genetic analysis. Since this method is antigen-independent, antibodies can be obtained against unidentified pathogens for which the antigen is unknown.

Using the unique technique of antibody screening with bioinformatics, we are investigating antibody development schemes that can be applied to unidentified infectious diseases.

SOLUTIONethods for solving social issues

Preventing the Next Pandemic

The pandemic of COVID19 showed how vulnerable our society is to emerging infectious diseases. If this method is put to practical use, antibodies can be produced and used to treat the next outbreak, even if the pathogen is not known.

ORIGINALITYUniqueness, Passion for Development

Applicable to Cancer as well as Infectious Diseases

This method is both an antibody screening technology and an antigen discovery technology. If applied not only to infectious diseases but also to cancer, it is expected to discover unknown cancer treatment targets.

VISIONDream, Outlook, Business Image

Building a Platform to Create an Antibody Using Clinical Bio-Resources

We intend to establish an international network for infectious disease research and build a system to create antibodies using this technology as soon as there is an outbreak of an emerging infectious disease. We would also like to develop a system to obtain various anti-cancer antibodies in collaboration with biobanks.
