Thermal Management Business Based on Highly
Accurate Thermal Measurement Technology

We will take on the challenge of establishing the world's first thermal management company that utilizes unused and discarded waste heat by combining the world's first thermal reservoir computing technology with highly accurate thermal measurement technology such as the frequency-domain thermo-reflectance method which is at the highest level worldwide. In addition to contract analysis of the thermophysical properties of materials, the company aims to develop devices capable of monitoring the state of heat generated in a wide range of fields, including automobiles, batteries, housing, and PCs, and to establish a sales and consulting business.

Currently, while further deepening the thermal measurement technology under development, we are working on contract analysis for several companies, including material manufacturers. We are also developing simulation tools for thermal management. Recently, I have also started a new project with my students, utilizing the experience and advice learned through the GAP Fund. In the future, we would like to contribute to the realization of a low-carbon society by integrating thermal measurement technology with thermal management technology.

We possess a great deal of expertise and technology in various thermophysical property measurement techniques, such as frequency-domain thermoreflectance, as well as unique AI-based technologies, such as the thermal reservoir computing technology recently discovered by the Principal Investigator. The strength of our research lies not only in the thermal measurement technology but also in the devices based on our technology and the thermal management technology using these devices. We would appreciate various opinions on how to create businesses.

As a result of our activities in the GAP Fund, we have made significant progress in thermal measurement technology and brushed up our business model. We are aiming to start a business in 2026, first by utilizing the patented technology we have applied for, and then expand our business into the field of functional thin films such as heat dissipation sheets, which are necessary for thermal management, etc. We are confident that our experience in the GAP Fund will help the project to grow significantly.
