Self-Learning Nursing Skills Training System

During my time as a public health nurse and registered nurse, I believed that computers could contribute to better nursing care. This led me to pursue a degree in the Information Science Course within the Interdisciplinary Sciences Program at the Faculty of Education, Kagawa University. Since then, I have been focusing on supporting the nursing field using my knowledge in nursing, informatics, and engineering.

Learn Procedures Without an Instructor
Nursing skills education typically involves large groups of students practicing simultaneously in a skills lab, with a limited number of instructors providing guidance. To address this, I developed an e-learning system that enables (1) the certain acquisition of nursing procedures through self-learning and (2) reflection on one's own nursing techniques.

New Nursing Skills Training System with 30 Years of Passion
When I was a nurse, I often couldn't finish the IV injection procedures even after lights-out. I still recall the guilt I felt when I caused patients pain due to multiple failed attempts at the injections. "I wanted to become better at administering injections. I didn’t want to cause patients any unnecessary pain." It was with these feelings in mind that I developed this system.
VISIONDream, Outlook, Business Image
My Dream Is To Produce Nurses Who Can Provide Excellent Nursing Care
Acquiring advanced skills requires training. I believe that an educational system that allows self-learning by comparing one's techniques with those of experts is highly beneficial. I also want to offer this system internationally, sharing the excellent nursing techniques of Japanese nurses with the world.
